The EnSite Precision cardiac mapping system from, developed by St. Jude Medical, now a division of Abbott, has been launched in the U.S., along with the matching Advisor FL Circular Mapping Catheter. The system, which is used to map cardiac arrhythmias in order to find targets for ablation, is already in use in a number of hospitals around the country where clinical studies were conducted, and it is now available to other clinics looking to upgrade their electrophysiology capabilities.
